ScienceInsider is reporting (from still unconfirmed sources) that last year’s reports of faster-then-light neutrinos from CERN’s OPERA collaborative were due to a mistake. Specifically, a bad connection between a computer and a GPS unit.

aw gee well yesterday was my old school’s speech day and i done gone and got a couple of awards, so i went and sang the songs in latin and all the stuff we used to do and it was funny and grandiose and good. and i got kinokuniya vouchers with the awards which is A+ for getting some lonely planet guides and the like! anyway after that we went to the lord nelson and almost all the best...
